Bridle Trails
Beaulieu has approximately 28 kilometers of Bridle Trails for use by members and their family. Access to the bridle trails is controlled by a series of internal gates, controlled by an app on your phone.
Equestrian Guidelines
The Equestrian Guidelines are established to ensure the safety and well-being of both horses and riders within the estate.
Trail Monitoring and Curfew
- For security purposes, the trails are electronically monitored.
- A curfew is in effect from 18:00 to 06:00. Use before 06:00 on weekdays and 07:00 on weekends and holidays is discouraged to minimize noise disturbances from canine residents.
Trail Use Regulations
- Motorized vehicles are prohibited on the trails, which are used by cyclists, riders, and pedestrians. Security is authorized to remove residents and their guests who do not adhere to this regulation.
- Dogs accompanying trail users must be on a leash at all times.
- Cyclists must warn riders when approaching from behind and pull to one side when horses are nearby. Groups of more than three cyclists must stop when they see horses.
- Walkers should move to one side and give way to horses.
Maintenance and Safety
- Report any holes, malfunctioning gates, or other dangers to admin for prompt repairs.
- Riders should reinstate jumps if knocked down.
- Never canter around blind corners or past other horses.
Community Considerations
- Avoid paddocking stallions near the boundary of another property containing horses.
- Ensure that floodlights on arenas do not shine into neighboring properties.
- Be mindful of noise and dust when harrowing arenas.
- Ensure compost heaps do not cause discomfort to neighbors. Services are available to collect compost from your gate.
- Implement adequate fly control measures.

Additional numbers will be at the discretion of the BCE at an additional cost.
For security reasons these need to be updated annually, or they will be removed off the system.
